Best American Movers – Universal Terms & Conditions Service Overview Best American Movers offers moving packages that may include basic moving (labor, truck, disassembly/reassembly, furniture protection) or full packing (all materials, labor, fragile packing). Scope depends on the package booked. Included Services Basic Service: Movers and truck for booked hours. Up to 1 hr travel time. Furniture disassembly/reassembly. Blanket wrapping of leather, wood, metal, and fabric furniture. Basic valuation protection. Full Packing Service: All Basic Service features. Packing of all household items, including fragile items. All standard packing supplies (boxes, tape, paper, mattress covers, padding). Not Included Specialty/oversized items (pianos, safes, gym equipment, aquariums, hot tubs, pool tables) unless pre-arranged. Custom crating for high-value artwork/antiques. Stair carry charges if applicable. Travel time over 1 hr each way (billed separately). Unpacking unless pre-arranged. Payment Terms Full payment due before delivery. Accepted: cash, credit/debit card, Zelle, postal money order, Venmo, CashApp. 3% fee applies to card, Venmo, and CashApp. Service confirmed only once paid. Prepaid discounted time not used is non-refundable and cannot roll over to another move. Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancel ≥7 business days before service: full refund. Cancel day-of: customer owes 60% of estimate. Rescheduling depends on crew/truck availability. Valuation & Liability Basic coverage: $0.60/lb per item (federal standard). Additional insurance available. Not liable for: pre-existing damage, undisclosed fragile/high-value items, or customer-packed boxes (Basic Service). Customer Responsibilities Provide truck parking. Keep pathways, stairs, and doors clear/safe. Inform movers of fragile/high-value items. Keep pets/children away from work area. Safety & Conditions Movers may refuse unsafe work or hazardous conditions.
